The engine at the core of this A5 model is the same 2.0 litre Turbo petrol lump found in A3, A4 and TT models of the past.  As such it’s a fast little blighter too, with 0 – 62mph in a mere 7.8 seconds and it doesn’t stop there with a top speed of 148mph.

All of this grunt, however doesn’t make it the fluffiest of eco-warriors – touting a claimed 42.8mpg it’s not the worst of offenders, but it’s also nowhere near the best!
